DOMS day

Today was DOMS day "Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness" day. And it was not bad at all! I felt sore a bit in my quads, but stairs not a problem at all. No aches or soreness anywhere else, just a general feeling of tiredness and stiffness after sitting a while.


I'll even do a short uber slow recovery run tomorrow morning..that is a *first* to be back on the road so quickly.


I'm very happy to have finished 23 out of 43 on Saturday. That is a big improvement over any of my previous hilly trail races. 

James wrote up his race report and his photos are much better than mine..check them out!

  1. I am very familiar with Mr. Doms. I usually run through it and think it helps recovery to be quicker.

  2. Congrats on a race well done! I think DOMS is a rite of passage. Like a badge of honour to be worn with pride and a touch of grimacing.
